One of the most courageous things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Reaching out for therapy is the first step to embarking on the therapeutic process. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, with the client in the driver’s seat. It is possible to live more openly, freely, honestly, and authentically.
I strive to provide an open, safe, and judgment-free space that allows you to openly explore your thoughts and feelings, to help better understand yourself, and to find healthier alternatives of being in the world. My job is to support your growth through empathy, deep listening, validation, and meaningful reflections to ultimately build a life you envision living.
I have experience working with individuals dealing with a variety of common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As well as experience and interest working with the following areas LGBTQIA+, trauma, life transitions, Autism Spectrum Disorder, eating disorders, and chronic illness.
My work involves viewing the person as a whole, focusing on strengths, and using several strategies to help achieve a client’s goals. These may include Existential-Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Therapy.
People say I am easy to talk to, calming, present, genuine, and accepting.
